The Story:

Dr. David L. Olive, age 55, is the father of 5 children, including two adopted from Fondwa, Haiti. He is a reproductive endocrinologist and co-founder of the Wisconsin Fertility Institute, the largest fertility center in Wisconsin.

Dr. Olive has completed 8 marathons and numerous other insane events.

In 2007, Dave was training for the Ironman Triathlon when he had a bicycle accident, breaking 15 bones and collapsing a lung.

During the ensuing evaluation, doctors discovered a mass in his left lung that was diagnosed as lung cancer. The lung was surgically removed, and Dave underwent four rounds of chemotherapy.

To raise money for the Leogane Family Hospital and Research Center, Dave is once again attempting to complete the Ironman Triathlon - on September 13, 2009 - and YOU can support him!
