Is Family Health Ministries a religious organization?

It is not the agenda of FHM to convince others to believe what we believe.

In fact, our mission statement prohibits us from taking our agenda into another community.
- FHM supports international communities in "their" efforts to build and sustain healthy families. -

As a faith-based organization, members of FHM are motivated by their faith to
dedicate their time, energy and resources to serve people and communities 'in need'.

Our mission & therefore our agenda is defined by the needs of communities,
as defined by that community, not by the members of FHM.

While we do support faith building activities
such as church development, seminary scholarships & Bible programs...
each of these projects was requested by the communities that we serve.

A large focus of the work that FHM supports involves maternal and child health, public health, nutrition, and education.
