The Leogane Family Health Center(LFHC) will one day become a $12 million, 100,000 square foot teaching and research hospital complex, serving the people of southern Haiti.

The first building on the site is the Nancy Ferree-Clark Guesthouse (shown below, in the  lower right corner and in architect's rendering on the right).  Construction ia expected to be finished by April 2012. 

The second phase, a 9000 square foot Surgical Facility (below left in blue) will provide acutely needed surgical services for Haitian families.

The Surgical Facility will have three sections - the Surgical Unit, the Outpatient Services Unit, and the Support Services Unit.

The new Surgical Facility will:

• Cure premalignant cervical disease before it becomes cervical cancer
• Deliver emergency, life-saving care to moms and babies for pregnancy-related complications
