Our Work Research

The Research Division of Family Health Ministries is responsible for many aspects of the technical scope (technical scope of practice means how things are done) of FHM's practice in Haiti. They not only seek out, apply for, negotiate and manage grants, but also ensure that our collaborators are following the protocols set forth by one of two institutional review boards. Additionally, the Research Division manages several on-going projects in Haiti to include: Cervical Cancer Prevention and HPV screening, Mental Health Programs, Childhood Nutrition Programs, and a GPS mapping project of certain trends in the communities where we work.
