The Leogane Family Health Center (LFHC) will one day be an $11 million, 100,000-square-foot patient care, teaching and research hospital complex, with an annual operating budget of $717K. 

The facility will have multiple operating rooms, inpatient and outpatient wings, a chapel, a research and administrative wing, and a guesthouse.  Download a copy of the Project Description for the facility. 

The first building on the site is the Nancy Ferree-Clark Guesthouse (shown below, in the  lower right corner and in architect's rendering on the right).  Construction ia expected to be finished by mid-May 2012. 

The second phase, a 9000-square-foot Surgical Facility(below left in blue) will provide acutely needed surgical services for Haitian families. 

 The new Surgical Facility will cure premalignant cervical disease before it becomes cervical cancer and deliver emergency, life-saving care to moms and babies for pregnancy-related complications.  View the floor plan of the surgical facility.
